We were looking for the most bang for our buck. We were picking up our new puppy and wanted to pay the least amount of money for a clean, comfortable place to sleep. The Nittany Budget Motel lived up to it's name. Don't be alarmed when you find the "office" in the Bottle Shop, the young lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. Our room was only $80.00, it was clean, the bathroom was clean...none of the bells and whistles which we did not need. There were plenty of places to charge our phones and it had free WiFi, Complementary breakfast was our choice of a breakfast muffin and choice of beverage, which was placed in a "drop box" in the room at the time we chose. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

The breakfast delivery was cute touch. Room was clean, although decor was nice but not cohesive. Colonial mirror with 1980s wallpaper banner and mauve laminate counter top combined with lime-ish paint on opposing wall that match the new curtains, lamps, bedframes, and modern pictures on the walls. Why they didn't rip off that wallpaper border when they updated the rest, idk. It was very clean. Had a small fridge and microwave. Loved that! Plenty of space on the counter top that was a table/desk/storage. Always hot water. There's a farmer's market across the road. Definitely would stay again.

The price was unbeatable.. the bottleshop/ office was a nice touch.. its modesty accommodations but clean and comfortable for motel standard.. the thing that set this apart from any other motel ive stayed as was the breakfast " in bed" delivered to your room via a little cubby in the wall... most times I dont utilize the breakfast because it ends just as I am packing and getting ready this was amazing to hear a little knock and get a small starter breakfast without having to leave my room.. would stay again for sure!

I like this motel’s proximity to downtown State College. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. I especially liked the breakfast nook in the room, which is a small metal door, both inside and outside, that allows staff to drop off your continental breakfast. Speaking of staff, they are top-notch - very professional and friendly, which I appreciated. If a guest enjoys various types of beer, they’d probably like the beer shop in the motel’s office.

The stay came with breakfast which wasn't a lot but decent. The wifi was pretty consistent. Pet friendly. There was both a fridge and a microwave. Checking in and out was easy and quick. There was a folding luggage holder. There was a very large desk space area for working and a lot of storage throughout the room (drawers, cabinets, shelves). There were also plenty of chairs. Bus stop dropping off and picking up is close. Worth the price for the stay.
